However, in today’s world of rapid-fire multitasking and work stress, our breathing often becomes shallow and inadequate, leading to a host of physical and emotional issues.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to take conscious breathing breaks to center yourself on the present moment and invigorate your mind. By mastering four different types of breath – Charging Breath, Relaxing Breath, Circular Breath, and Step Breath – you’ll be able to articulate the role breath plays in our lives and bodies.
Not only will conscious breathing help you feel more positive and supported by life, but it can also lead to ecstatic bliss every day. And if you can master three of these breaths (Charging, Relaxing, and Circular), you can definitely do tantra!
This workshop is open to all genders and does involve some touch between consenting adults. However, it is not built around touch, and there is no nudity. Please avoid coming with a full stomach. You are encouraged to participate at your own comfort level and can opt out of any exercises if you choose. Our priority is creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Dr. Martha Tara Lee is a trained sexological bodyworker, Relationship Counselor & Clinical Sexologist with over 14 years of experience teaching touch and sexuality. Her facilitation style is direct, straight-talking, witty, and fun – so get ready for jokes and personal anecdotes!
