Gayane Jaworsky is a deeply committed counselor specializing in substance use, sex addiction, dual diagnosis, and trauma-informed care. With over six years of experience, she has supported individuals in diverse settings—including adult men in corrections and women navigating dual diagnoses while reuniting with their children. She is passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions while working toward meaningful and lasting change. Looking ahead, Gayane is especially interested in working with couples and families and aspires to take on leadership roles within therapy. Grounded in evidence-based practices, Gayane draws from various therapeutic modalities, including CBI-SUA, CBI-SO, CBT, Reality, Gestalt, Analytical, and Person-Centered approaches. Gayane earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and holds credentials as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant II (CDCA II) and Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS). She brings extensive experience from both community corrections and outpatient settings. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy while also working toward her LCDC III licensure. Additionally, she has studied Christian Theology at the graduate level, which enriches her ability to offer a well-rounded perspective to clients who value integrating spirituality into their healing journey.
