Hello everyone! My name is Raven Naquelle Parks, but you can call me Rae. I am building a career as a Research Journalist for Sexology in Public Health. My aim is to utilize qualitative and quantitative methods in studying, analyzing, and reporting prevalence and incidence rates of sexual violence, and associated afflictions, among marginalized populations. I trust that my findings will help influence the creation of interventions to combat inequities in community support, mental and emotional welfare, and public safety. Although my interests are distinct, I am open to learning everything I can in all subject matters; a well-rounded skill set will afford me the opportunity to become a better researcher, collaborator, and leader in Public Health.
