Amy R. Marsh is a clinical sexologist (Ed.D., 2011 & DHS, 2008) from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS); an ABS Diplomate of Sexology (2025); an AASECT-certified sexuality counselor (CSC, 2012); a certified hypnotist (CH, 2008); and a certified hypnosis instructor (CI, 2012). In 2008 she/ze was board certified by the American College of Sexologists (ACS). After earning her/zir Ed.D., Marsh created and taught a certificate course, Intimate Hypnosis-Sexological Hypnosis Skills, at IASHS for two years. After that, Marsh founded The Intimate Hypnosis Training Center to deliver online professional training in hypnosis for sexual concerns. Marsh is the author of Sexological Hypnosis: Overview, History, & Techniques (2022); Entrancing - Hypnotizing Your Way to More Pleasure, Romance, and Sex (2023); How To Make Love To A Chatbot - The Thinking Human’s Guide to AI Erotic Roleplay (2023); and How to Break Up With a Chatbot - The Thinking Human’s Guide to Managing Digital Desire (2025). Marsh is a regular contributor to FutureofSex.net with over 80 articles to date, many of them about AI/human intimacy. Marsh has appeared several times on national television in the U.S., Japan, Australia, and England, mostly with regard to objectum sexuality or chatbot intimacy. Marsh is also the author of a published 4-book fantasy series: The Guild of Ornamental Hermits series.
