I offer present- and future-oriented sexuality counseling and educational information tailored to individuals & couples with sexual concerns in a confidential and non-judgmental environment which is designed to empower the client(s) and not the problem. I also provide appropriate external resources while enhancing the internal resources client(s) already have to deal with their sexual concerns. Because of the centrality of sexual experience, this type of work can be transformational in many aspects of a client's life and not just their sexuality. I work as an equal and collaborative partner and am supportive and empathic. I am a clinical sexologist and sexuality educator. Sexology is the systematic, multi-disciplinary study of *ALL* human sexual behaviors - conventional and unconventional - and how people feel about them. Active member of many professional organizations including the Consortium on Sexuality and Aging at Widener University where I'm on the Board of Directors. Multi-faceted background: As a reproductive biologist, worked @ Harvard Medical Sch. for 25 yrs where I was Associate Professor (Urology) @ Brigham & Women's Hospital. Yrs later, obtained (a) another doctorate in sexuality education & sexual behavior & (b) was a Planned Parenthood volunteer. Currently, I counsel clients of all ages, lecture widely, & write.
