Misha Frazier (she/her) is a Certified Sexuality Professional completing her doctorate in Human Sexuality at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her research primarily centers Black sexuality, intersectionality, script theory, and systems of power. She advocates for self-awareness in communities to implement anti-oppressive practices. This comes in the form of both supporting historically marginalized communities in honing tools to embrace their power while purposely pursuing pleasure as well as educating individuals on the role we play in upholding oppressive systems. Misha is the founder of Misha’s Room, a space for intentional reflection that uses creative expression to dismantle oppressive norms and promote sexual positivity. Her approach to education encourages authenticity through poetry, storytelling, and critical discourse.
