I specialize in individual and couples therapy as well as sex therapy helping individuals resolve sexual and relationship issues. I have extensive experience (30+ years) — I can help you too.

My approach begins with a comprehensive evaluation to determine the causes contributing to your difficulties. Then you and I create a plan that is tailored to helping you, decrease anxiety, resolve blocks, learn communication and coping skills and achieve relationship and sexual satisfaction. My approach draws from my training in sex therapy, family systems, psychodynamic and cognitive therapies as well as hypnosis and EMDR.

My expertise includes treating issues of sexual dysfunction (including loss of sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, and orgasmic difficulties) relationship conflict, divorce/separation and life style issues.

While the therapy hour is important, a major component of change occurs during the other 167 hours of the week. So I work with you to tailor homework and homeplay that will augment the therapy hour and help you make progress on your own.

I am co-author of Secrets of Sexual Ecstasy, in the Psychology Today: Here to Help book series.

My services include sex therapy, couples therapy as well as individual psychotherapy. I work with couples and individuals to address issues of low sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, organismic difficulties and other sexual difficulties. I help with couples in counseling (including divorce/separation), to work on communication, conflict resolution and I help couples and individuals resolve difficult or chronic relationship/marital conflicts; such as communication, financial, parenting , family, jealousy, infidelity and reconciliation (after a breakup) issues. I help individuals around the emotional and practical issues of relationship transitions related to a divorce, separation or a breakup as well as treating general psychological difficulties.
