I grew up San Diego, California and I’ve been passionate about people and relationships since I was a child so it was natural for me to pursue a career in psychology. I became a marriage and family therapist and opened a private practice and simultaneously started a family and become personally and professional aware of the gap and need for greater training and education in sexuality. I began doing research on sexual desire and started teaching workshops to empower individuals and couples to understand how their sexuality and desire worked. After a couple years of doing this I decided to go back and get my PhD in Human Sexuality. I’ve focused my practice on sex therapy and education ever since. I’m a lifelong learner and have many ambitions to write and deliver information to people that will help them understand themselves and their sexuality. I’m greatly motivated to help people feel fully authentic and experience deep meaningful relationships.
