Danielle Simpson-Baker, MA, RMFTI, ABS

Danielle Simpson-Baker wears many hats, both in the world of mental health and sex work. Danielle is a Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern in the state of Florida and a soon-to-be Certified Sex Therapist. She currently works as an Associate Therapist for Brave Health in addition to working part time as a sex therapist for a private practice in Winter Park, FL. Danielle also owns and operates her own online sexual wellness center, launching in late 2022. Danielle has also worked in the nonprofit sector as a sexual assault advocate and counselor in the Greater Orlando area. This role allowed her to work directly with survivors of sexual assault, from forensic collection to trauma counseling, and allowed her to get a first-hand view of what survivors experience. As a survivor herself, Danielle’s work has been informed by both personal and professional experience. Danielle is also a retired full service sex worker and has experience in both virtual and in-person sex work. She has run sex worker support groups and continues to offer discounted mental health services to sex workers whenever possible. She has amassed a social media following of more than 23,000 on Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok, where she talks freely and openly about sex therapy, sex education and sex work in an authentic, accessible way.
