Being an experienced Occupational Therapist working with Chinese population with physical disability and mental health issues in local hospitals setting more than 3 decades, I have gained extensive understanding about how people with disability and mental health issues struggling with their sexuality and relationship across their life span. Particularly, I help individual and couples survive over their psychosexual and relationship struggles being impacted by stroke, spinal cord injury, prostate cancer, chronic pain, infertility, mental health and andrology issue.
Being trained in UK and USA sex therapy program, I adopt various intervention strategies including object relations couple therapy, emotionally focused couple therapy, solution focus therapy, CBT ,motivational interviewing and coaching. In my therapy session, I believed psychosexual and relationship growth are two sides of the same coin. I never overlook either one in my session.
