I am a qualified Obstetrician/ Gynecologist and laparoscopic surgeon,dealing with infertility and women's health.
One of the main reasons for my interest in sexology is , I feel both young and older Indian women still need to open up to being able to discuss their health issues and fears .both physical and sexual.
There is a need for both confidence in bringing up the issue,and support in the management of sexual health.
I realise that a majority of what people consider infertility issues , usually have a sexual basis / desire &orgasm difficulties or discomfort..which nobody addresses .
India, though it is the land of Kamasutra,has a very strong conservative ethos.It is therefore both interesting and important to acknowledge and address the sexual aspect of women's health,along with general wellbeing .for a more vibrant womankind .
