Dissertation: Publication Preview Source Managerial Improvements the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board Needs to Support Evidence-Based Practice in Offender Treatment
I have been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 2009, focusing primarily on sexual issues, including- but not limited to - couples counseling, compulsive behaviors, youth concerns, LGBTQ+ issues, and trauma, including incest and trafficking. I am also a Subject Matter Expert on sexually based offenses, and I hold professional certifications for treating adults and adolescents who have been convicted of sex crimes, as well as those who have been victimized. My therapeutic orientation is primarily client-centered, also known as Rogerian, however, I also employ techniques from the Gestalt, Experiential, Jungian, and Spiritual oriented approaches. I am a founding member of the Colorado Mental Health Professionals Association and a senior member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
