Jaime Leon Acosta, Ph.D.

Jaime Acosta nació en Medellín Colombia. Tiene un doctorado en salud mental con especialización en sexología clínica de universidades en Estados Unidos donde reside desde los trece años de edad. Ha colaborado en la autoría de diversos manuales para la capacitación de personal en salud pública. También ha incursionado en la creación de guiones para videos educacionales y en 1990 escribió y produjo la obra teatral La Gran Pesadilla que trata la problemática del SIDA en una familia latinoamericana.

Jaime Acosta was born in Medellín Colombia. He has a doctorate in mental health with a specialization in clinical sexology from universities in the United States where he has resided since the age of thirteen. He has collaborated in the authorship of various manuals for the training of personnel in public health. He has also ventured into the creation of scripts for educational videos and in 1990 he wrote and produced the play La Gran Pesadilla, which deals with the problem of AIDS in a Latin American family.
