Dr. Misha Frazier (she/her) is a Certified Sexologist, poet, professor, and public speaker. She is the Founder of Misha’s Room, which is a community for intentional reflection, education, and exploration that uses creative expression to dismantle oppressive norms and promote sexual positivity. She is also the Co-Founder of Queer Wellness Network, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to sexual health and mental health resources for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members. Dr. Misha is a dog mom, published poet, and New Orleans native. Dr. Misha has studied wellness and sexuality for over a decade including courses specific to sexual orientation, race, and gender identity. Her expertise is in advocating for equity for all marginalized communities through sexuality education and identity exploration in ways that increase access, belonging, and success. From conceptualizing and establishing forward-thinking plans and programs to serving as a subject matter expert on intersectionality, Dr. Misha excels at designing courses that challenge individuals to promote social justice by strategically applying theoretical knowledge. To date, she has designed and facilitated over 40 programs and 10 courses relevant to wellness, social issues, and sexuality in both virtual and in-person spaces. With each of those programs, Dr. Misha was able to engage participants by effectively articulating information in an authentic, interactive, and creative manner.
