Dr. Margo Lewis- Jah is a licensed clinical psychologist and sexologist, who is also accredited as a traumatologist. Dr. Lewis-Jah is a proud alumnus of Springfield College and Widener University. She has an extraordinary academic background as she holds three Masters Degrees (in Education, Social Worker, and Organizational Management & Leadership) and a Ph.D. with a clinical specialization in Human Sexuality. Her scholarly passion and outstanding academic achievements have earned her placement in the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. Dr. Lewis-Jah is regarded as a pillar of her community as she leads the charge as a mental health advocate. She is the established owner and clinical director of Synergy Consultants and Psychotherapy Practice, private outpatient agency in Wilmington Delaware, since 2012. Dr. Lewis- Jah considers herself to be a cognitive transformational strategist and a thought leader. Her clinical focus is to empower individuals (both personally and professionally) to seek executive, emotional elevation within the context of their lives. Her therapeutic treatment approach is strengths based, respecting each person’s self-determination for achieving a state of emotional and sexual wellness. Dr. Lewis-Jah believes that establishing strong therapeutic relationships can create healing and generate the motivation for change. Collectively, she's acquired over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families working with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment disorders, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual health, and relationship/family dynamics. In her consulting work, Dr. Lewis-Jah has provided mental and sexual health educational resources and training within the Delaware school system, Academia, and within her community for profit and non-profit corporations. Dr. Lewis-Jah has provided clinical supervision to over 120 clinicians as they acquire effective clinical skills necessary to deliver culturally competent and ethical services. Dr. Lewis-Jah has presented on several speaking platforms as a presenter or keynote promoting concepts of mental and sexual wellness. She is the host of a New YouTube Channel -The Jah Experience- called, “Out In The Open With Dr. Jah” well she encourages her listeners to become comfortable with uncomfortable topics as she advocates to break the silence around mental and sexual health.
