I am the Chair of Public Service and Assistant Professor of the Addictions, Mental Health, and Social Work Assistant program at Rhodes State College. I love my job as an instructor, and I hope it shows within my classroom and interactions with my students. I have over a decade of experience as a Mental Health Therapist at Coleman Professional Services, treating and diagnosing mental health and substance abuse disorders.
Licensed Social Worker with a Supervision designation (LISW-S) and an HS-BCP, Human Services- Board Certified Practitioner’s certification. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Masters of Social Work from The Ohio State University. Within the last few months, I completed my Doctorate in Human Services specializing in Leadership and Organizational Management from Capella University.
Personally, I am an “aunt mom” of two wonderful children, a newly teenage daughter and an adult son. My hobbies are shopping, sewing, crafts, and cooking. My favorite thing is to cuddle up in a blanket with a snack and watch romantic comedies. I love music. I will dance and sing loudly while driving without embarrassment.
