The Florida Certification Board (FCB) designs, develops and manages programs for over 30 health and human services professions and certifies more than 20,000 professionals statewide, including those in the child welfare, mental health, addiction and health fields, by ensuring that they meet education, training, experience and testing criteria.
We continue to progress our mission by regulating certified professionals through experience, education and compliance which includes the following:
Establishing, administering, and monitoring all certification programs. New professions are continually added.
Actively participating in legislative advocacy and ensuring that our partners have a voice in the political process.
Establishing one of the country’s most successful Political Action Committee funds.
Administering programs directly related to workforce development.
Our team is led by nationally recognized experts with vast expertise in certification program development, implementation, and administration.
